SCHEDULE & CONTENT:
DAY 1 6AM - 3PM
Meet at the Sydney flower markets to source your flowers with Nadine’s guidance
Return to The Ivy Greenhouse, prep & condition flowers
Design Fundamentals
Chef prepared Lunch
What does it mean to be a sustainable designer
Bouquets 3 ways - spiral, cross-stem & free form techniques.
DAY 2 10AM - 4PM
Dried flower / Botanical designs [ all materials supplied naturally dried, locally grown, chemical & bleach free]
Flower Drying techniques
Table Centre piece - using Kenzan supplied
Chef prepared Lunch
Large statement arrangement - foam free mechanics - vessel supplied
Wearable designs - Create Boutonnieres or Floral Cuff - sundries supplied
A full 2 days of learning a wide variety of basic skills, sustainable techniques & mechanics along with the added experience of a guided buying tour of the Sydney Markets under Nadine’s guidance.
Suggested design list given prior to workshop - Flower cost est. $150 - $200
