About the course
2 days dedicated to the art and business of EARTH CONSCIOUS wedding design, gathered in my Ivy Greenhouse.
SCHEDULE & CONTENT LEARNED:
Day 1: 6am - 3pm
Meet at the Sydney Flower Market to source your flowers with Nadine’s guidance.
Return to The Ivy Greenhouse, prep & condition flowers.
Tablescape group Installation for our long table lunch.
Chef prepared lunch.
Business discussion, quoting/proposals/pricing for profit & open Q&A.
Bridal bouquets - learn to build multiple bouquets using a variety of techniques & mechanics - exploring new trends and defining your own signature style.
Day 2: 10am - 4pm
Table Centrepieces - using Kenzan, wire mechanics & foam alternatives.
Wearable designs - floral cuff, pocket & alternative boutonniere, head piece.
Chef prepared lunch.
Photograph session - photo & styling tips to create professional imagery of your designs
Large scale group installation - group creation of a lush ceremony design
Your course fee will include fresh materials for the group installation sections of the course, but also allows for a DIY flowers approach for the market component. Allowing you the creative freedom to design using the florals & colour pallets that best represent your brand & ideal clients, with the view that they can be used in your current portfolio.
